Cloover Turns Profitable: Credibur on One of the Facilities Behind Its Growth

Cloover turned profitable three years after launch, at a revenue run rate above 300 million euros.
Instead of selling to homeowners, Cloover works with the installer who is already in the house, quoting a solar system or a heat pump, and puts the financing at that moment. Around 20,000 installations a year now run through the platform across five European markets.
Profitability came on 1 September alongside two other announcements: a new debt facility, and Cloover Energy, which pools the solar panels, batteries, heat pumps and EV chargers already financed into a virtual power plant. The financing book has become the asset base for an energy business.
Growth at that speed is funded through warehouse and structured facilities, and each one carries an operational layer that has to hold up every month: data tested against the eligibility rules before capital moves, exposure tracked as the book grows, reporting to the capital provider on a fixed cadence. Credibur runs that layer on one of the facilities behind Cloover's volume.
Congratulations to Peder Broms, Jodok Betschart, Valentin Gönczy and everyone at Cloover.
